I am an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Economics at the Institute of Management Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick and a PhD in Mathematical Methods and Systems from City, University of London. Prior to this, I studied Finance and Development; and Mathematics in London and Athens. I am an Associate Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Economic Theory and its Applications (CRETA) at Warwick, Birkbeck’s Centre for Political Economy and Institutional Studies, the Centre of Applied Macroeconomic Analysis at the Australian National University an external member of the Centre for Globalisation Research at Queen Mary, University of London and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
My current research interests lie at the intersection of Economics with Political Philosophy, (International) Political Economy and Sustainable Development. My work utilises insights from behavioural science and different schools of thought within political economy and combines analytical and computational tools to answer questions related to political instability, social justice, global production and the social foundations of epidemics.
